Course Description:
START on a minor road about a mile north-west of Oakley, Buckinghamshire, 32 yards before the sign post at the junction to “Bicester 8, Boarstall1” by a large grassed area. SP609115 Bear left at the junction (Care) and pass under the power lines to cross over the M40 bridge. Continue south-east and then down a hill past Bernwood Forest to the T-junction with the road to Horton-cum-Studley on the right (care) and continue straight on down the hill. SP602103 Continue straight on to a Z-bend (care) and on to Menmarsh Guide Post cross roads. Turn sharp left (Care,Sign) onto the minor road signposted “Worminghall and Thame”. M1 SP642086 Continue to the cross roads in Worminghall where turn sharp left (Care, M2),onto the minor road towards Oakley. SP638122 Continue north-east and north to Oakley . Bear left and left again onto the minor road towards Horton, Stanton St John and Oxford giving way to traffic from the right. (Care) (Then Extra Care of parked cars on bends in the village) M3. SP623127 Continue past the start and follow the same route as on the first lap. SP607114 Descend the hill past the Horton-cum-Studley junction to the disused wooden double gate at the edge of the wood where FINISH in line with a round wooden post with two horizontal holes hidden in vegetation to the right of the right-hand gatepost.
