Course Description:

Start in Popham Court Lane at the western end, at a point approx 15 yards east of the end of road barrier installed around the left hand bend. 0.000 563448 Proceed in an easterly direction to the junction with the A33 (M1) where turn left (Care, traffic approaching from the right) to join the A33. 0.600 515643 Continue on A33 towards Winchester for approx 6 miles to the junction on the left signposted 'Northington 1/4 , The Candovers. At the former 'Lunways Inn' 6.700 571379 Turn left (M2) and continue to pass the Northington sign and follow signposted direction to 'The Candovers', ignoring right turn to 'Northington Only', to descend (care) to the junction with the B3046 at the 'Woolpack Inn' 9.7 610434 Turn left (M3) onto the B3046 and proceed via the Candovers to the crossroads at Axford signposted 'North Waltham 3 3/4 miles'. 15.45 573453 Turn left (M4) at the foot of Axford Hill and continue for a further 2 3/4 miles to finish near the brow of the hill, at the manhole cover by a field gate, just short of the Motorway bridge where finish. 18.2
