IMPORTANT NOTICE COVID-19
In view of the ongoing Government advice and guidance, and in particular the guidance on social distancing, riders should consult the CTT website for the latest information on 'Open' events and the individual clubs for 'Club' events. Because of COVID-19, it is not certain that all the scheduled events will all be promoted and the situation is subject to change at short notice.

Donald Ashton has spent many years dedicating his time to helping out with cycling in the District. As London West DC's Events Secretary, he has arranged the programmes and events of both Open and Club events throughout the district, doing all the necessary liaison work with the police on behalf of the clubs. He is also often called upon to make urgent amendments to the programmes as well.
He has personally promoted both Open and Club events for many years, is an Approved Timekeeper for both his own club, Farnborough & Camberley CC, as well as others, and is also involved in course measurements.
John Hoskins also specifically thanked Don for two new responsibilities he took on last year, which was to provide an events programme for the entire District to be published on the website, as well as his last-minute agreement to promote the National 12hr Championship last June, which proved to be a very successful event and is unlikely to have taken place without Don having offered to organise the event.
